Let’s Here it for the Shopping! Fashion’s Night Out, Miami Style

Fashion’s Night Out was a huge success in New York City last year, so big in fact that it has returned for a round two, and not just in one location. People all over were able to enjoy their own Fashion’s Night Out event in their cities and Miami sure did its part. Hundreds of men, women and even children joined in the fabulous festivities on Friday, September 10, 2010 in the Bal Harbour Shops.

Everyone was served like a Queen. While they shopped customers were treated to complimentary glasses of champagne along with decadent appetizers served to them on a silver platter. Shopping should always be this luxurious, don’t you think?

Besides the food, the fashion was truly the main event. Everyone was dressed in their finest as they scoped out the merchandise in Louis Vuitton, Prada and Diane Von Furstenberg. Saks Fifth Avenue had their own show with models posing on tiny stages with the latest Christian Louboutin’s on their feet and the hottest Fendi bag along their arm. There was also a live band playing some old Madonna hits and celebrity Chef Michelle Bernstein was there cooking up a few yummy things too.

People had no reason to feel guilty about their large purchases that evening since a percentage of the proceeds went to various charity organizations depending on the specific store. Now, if that doesn’t make you want to shop, nothing will!

All in all, the night was a complete success. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, even the men who were clearly dragged along for the ride. Lots of entertainment with DJ’s spinning in each store, to tasty snacks and of course we can’t forget about all the fun shopping that the fashion seemed to induce.
