Welcome

Carissa Chesanek, a professional writer is never shying away from hard or delicate topics. She knew she wanted to be a writer when she came out of the womb, pen and paper in hand. As a young girl she would prance around in her mother’s satin nightgown and heels, flipping through the glossy pages of various fashion magazines. Today she writes about everything from fashion, beauty, lifestyle and everything in between. Carissa expresses her whimsical, witty personality through her captivating and sometimes humorous articles. She has her MA in journalism, is a member of The Authors Guild and the International Federation of Business and Professional Women. Her articles have been seen in Redbook, Vivrant Magazine, BettyConfidential.com and Chaos Magazine. She is now a fashion writer for DivaVillage.com where she discusses the latest trends and is also a contributing writer for Vestiture Magazine, where she ties high-end fashion to real life scenarios. Currently she is living in Miami Beach, where she is working on her memoir.
